How do I join or renew my membership ?
For New Members
Before you can become a member of Illawarra Archers you must:
- Have completed a "Beginners course" with us or another Archery Australia registered Club; or
- be transferring from a recognised Archery Club.

You can view our schedule of fees by going to the Member Portal and clicking "New Registration".
Application for Membership
All applications for membership are done though our online portal.
- Click on Member Portal then click "New Registration" in themenu at the top of the page
- Select membership category
- Supply information about yourself
- or "Submit and pay online" if you have already done your beginner course / or are transferring from another AA affiliated Club
Your application will be reviewed by the Club Executive and the secretary will let you know the outcome by email.
If your application is successful and fees are already paid you may receive your "Welcome to the Club" email.
- you may be asked to clarify some details
- You may be asked to do a "check-out" (at no cost) with a Club Instructor
- We will request payment of fees if you did not do this online at the time of application
If online payment presents difficulties for you, contact the Treasurer, who will assist. When your membership is valid, you will receive the ‘Welcome to the Club’ email, which will include links to the Club Constitution, Club Rules & Safety Policy, and New Member Induction.
You are not a member of the Club and cannot shoot until you receive your “Welcome to the Club” email.
Until you receive your Archery Australia membership card, please retain your receipt with you at all times as proof of membership.

Once your membership is validated, you become a Provisional Member and your name will be listed on the provisional membership list.
At the next General Club Meeting following two-months membership, your name will be put forward to the meeting for acceptance as a full member. Provisional Members are encouraged to attend this Club Meeting.
In the event of an application being rejected, the provisional member will be invited to attend the next General Meeting for the reconsideration of membership. If after that procedure the provisional member is not confirmed, the provisional member shall cease to be a member of the Club and all membership fees shall be forfeited.
One of our conditions of new membership is that you must have either previously completed a Beginners Course" with us or another Archery Australia registered Club, unless you are transferring from an existing archery club.

For Existing Members
Click on Members Desq" or the "Renew Membership" button and use your member Username and Password to log in and update your member details as well as to renew your membership via the online Credit Card payments system.
Note: (credit card payments include a small administration fee).
Renewals via cash, cheque or direct deposit are also available and the details of how to use these methods would have been included in the reminder email that you received. Click for a Schedule of Fees.
