Members' Family and Friends Fun Day

Note this event is only for existing club members and their guests. If you know a member hit them up for an invitation! Otherwise please register for a Come and Try course for an instructor-led introductory session.

Club members, this is an opportunity to share your sport with family members and close friends!

This Fun Day will start with a "Come & Try" style introduction to archery. All club members and their guests will be using the Beginner Bows. Following a Safety Briefing the shooting session will go until 1pm, after which there will be a Club-supplied BBQ, finishing around 2pm.

There will be some normal target faces, as well as some fun ones to enjoy. Instructor/coach guidance will be available.

Registration Closes Sunday 9th May
In order to participate you must be wearing closed shoes. i.e. not sandals. Shoes must have covered toes/feet; this is a safety issue, so we cannot let anyone do archery without safe shoes.
It's suggested that you do not wear loose, bulky clothing- clothing and jewelry that won't get caught in the string, bow, etc. Also tie back loose hair, if you wish to keep it attached to your head;
Bring: drinking water; we are on a tank system, but you can also purchase bottled water ($1ea) or soft drink ($1.50ea) from our Club, Hat to protect your head from UV (but not a large brim that will interfere with the string when it's pulled back to your face), Sunscreen if it's a high UV day.
Minimum shooting age is 8 years old. Parents/Guardians must closely supervise their children, as there could be a large number of people. Club Members are responsible for their guests.
All Archery equipment will be provided for the session: bow, arrows, armguards, targets, and maybe even some little prizes!
